Domaine Gérard Julien et Fils Cote De Nuits Villages 2022

This is a deeply expressive and refined expression of Pinot Noir. It opens with an attractive bouquet dominated by wild black and red fruits, including raspberries and sour cherries, layered with noble green vegetal freshness, violets, and sweet spices. On the palate, the wine is juicy, sensual, and beautifully balanced. Its elegant, well-placed structure features firm, integrated tannins and a vibrant line of crisp acidity that complements the core of ripe fruit. The finish is long, harmonious, and accented by a delicate touch of smoke and lingering baking spices from careful French oak aging.
